Wholly Cow Burgers

1

For the past few years, Galway's food scene has been well & truly thriving.

If you’re from the city of tribes – you’ve been blessed.

And it’s undoubtedly down to a handful of delicious eateries who prioritised using the wide range of incredible local ingredients that all Galway-based restaurants have at their disposal.

One such venue is Wholly Cow Burgers, a gourmet burger outlet which also provides an impressive menu of mouth-watering food.

Set up at the turn of 2018 by Val & Jacinta Lynam, Wholly Cow Burgers have proven hugely popular with locals, tourists & the city’s thriving student population.

Val & Jacinta Lynam are familiar names in the Galway food industry, with a wealth of experience within the hospitality sector, and also being the proprietors of Green Olive Catering, which has served thousands of weddings & events for the better part of a decade!

Key to the Wholly Cow brand is the emphasis on sustainabilty. From sourcing the ingredients, to the packaging & materials, the team at Wholly Cow go over & beyond to ensure a fair price & ethical sourcing, keeping being kind to the environment at the forefront of all that they do.

The food itself is simply incredible. The menu contains nine amazing burgers all of which are worth trying at least once, but our personal favourite is the Cashel Blue which uses local Brady’s beef, Herteriche’s smoked belly bacon, relish, pickles, fried onions & Cashel blue cheese aboard a brioche bun.

And the menu doesn’t stop at the burgers…. rather it is just getting started. Wholly Cow Burgers provide a delectable range of loaded fries, wings, nachos, hot dogs… and more.

The best way to get a taste of everything is by opting for a sharing platter, which you can get for between €22.95 – €25.95, and is scandalous value for money, containing two large mains, two sides, and two drinks…

With a friendly, professional team, a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and a central location - you simply must pay Wholly Cow a visit if you are in Galway city or else you're missing out.
