1. Galway Christmas Market

The Galway Christmas Market is a must this year. This magical market is running for a total of four weeks from the 12th of Nov until the 22nd of Dec, so everyone can get a chance to visit. 

Eyre Square has been transformed into a winter wonderland with 50 wooden chalets spread across the market, offering all sorts of festive goodies from crepes, waffles, hot chocolates to hand crafted items to personalised gifts.

Absorb the Christmas experience from the 32 metre Big wheel or the traditional Carousel. Call into Santa’s grotto and finally, enjoy a stein while belting out your favourite Christmas carols  in the one and only Beer tent.

2. Christmas at the Milk Market, Limerick


There will be nothing but Christmas feels at the Milk Market this year, with a wide range of festive activities each day. With 8 large outdoor, heated benches, people can safely enjoy some treats and beverages offered by the 6 cafes within the market or even the Famous Seasonal Food – Xmas edition. 

There will be a variety of special events throughout, the unique fairs that are taking place really give you the chance to pick up a special gift or a token to remember this wonderful time of year. As well as a special day in aid of Limerick Suicide watch featuring the live jazz band Downtown Dixieland and an outdoor car showroom sponsored by Lyons of Limerick.

3. Strokestown Christmas Market




Strokestown Christmas Market is the place to visit during this joyful period! It runs from the 3rd-5th of December and it is packed with all we need to get in that Christmas spirit. 

To get everything and everybody into the swing of things, the first call of duty will be the spectacular illumination of Strokestown at 5pm on the 3rd , followed by Live music and street entertainment as well as the chance to indulge in the delightful range of Christmas delicacies throughout the weekend. Certainly is a must see!

4. The Christmas Market, Ennis, Clare


The return of the Ennis Christmas Market is upon us. This event kicks off on the 2nd of December in the Abbey Street carpark and after its huge success in 2019, it estimates that 10,000 visitors will attend throughout, you don’t want to miss out!

There will be a light show taking place on the 3rd and 4th of December as well as a special surprise for the opening of the Christmas Market on the 2nd, which are yet to be revealed. All sorts of colourful creations as well as winter warmers will be available throughout the period, we just cannot wait! 

5. Killarney Christmas Market


The largest Christmas Market in the whole Kingdom is located in Killarney. This year the Killarney Christmas Market has a new location,Scott’s Street and kicks off on the 3rd of December. 

This open air market allows for a safe environment to celebrate the Christmas Cheer and offers all the tasty treats and glorious gifts that you need this year!
