Colour dash returns to Galway!

 In Events, Health, News

11am on Sunday June 9th sees colour dash return to the grounds of NUIG. Organised by The Irish Cancer Society this 5km colour dash is taking place in Galway, Limerick, Cork and Dublin.

Thousands of enthusiastic walkers, joggers and runners will inject some colour into their lives with 100% of the funds raised going directly to the Irish Cancer Society.

Each kilometre and colour represents a different aspect of cancer

  • Yellow: Lung Cancer
  • Green: Bowel Cancer
  • Purple: Cancer Survivorship
  • Blue: Prostate Cancer
  • Pink: Breast Cancer

The colouring used is 100% organic and natural; but people are advised to wear old clothes and as much white as possible to get the full colour impact!

Registration is €30 per person over 12 and €5 per child.

Get out, get exercising, get colourful and raise some money for a fantastic cause this weekend!
